BEACH DAYS
Salt air.
A little wonder.
A long horizon. A waterfall beside the Pacific. The last light caught between the rocks. Start with a scene that draws you in, then shape a day around what you love.

CENTRAL PACIFIC
Room on the horizon.
Wide water, an open horizon and the last warm light on the sand. Bajamar offers a different visual starting point from a photograph filled with restaurants, surfboards and busy streets.
Use that contrast to shape your day. Are you looking for a coastal walk and a sunset, or a beach town with several stops close together? Choosing the kind of afternoon you want is more useful than trying to squeeze the whole Central Pacific into one outing.
What would make this a good day for you?
- A walk, a meal, photographs, or time to do very little?
- One stretch of coast to explore, or a town with several places to stop?
- A day visit, or a base worth getting to know over several days?
Choose a confirmed beach access point when putting your Bajamar day together.

SOUTHERN NICOYA
Where the green meets the blue.
A waterfall slips over the coastal rock, forest reaches toward the shoreline, and the Pacific opens beyond it. Justin’s aerial photograph and short film show those layers together, with a sense of scale that a close-up cannot give you.
For a peninsula visit, build a day around one main experience and leave space around it. A shoreline outing and an inland waterfall visit are different plans, even when they look close together in a photograph. Start with your base, then decide what you want to see and how you want to spend the time between stops.
Start with the experience, then choose the route.
- Is the priority the coastline, a waterfall outing, or time in town?
- Would you rather settle into one base or keep moving between communities?
- What would you like to capture: a wide landscape, small details, or a moment in motion?
For a waterfall outing, identify the exact site and confirm its current access before choosing your route.

TAMARINDO & LANGOSTA
Stay for the changing light.
The orange sky is only half the photograph. Reflections sit between the rocks, surf catches the light, and the foreground gives the sunset its texture. Playa Langosta is a reminder to look down as well as out.
Make photography part of a coastal afternoon rather than another appointment to rush toward. Choose a comfortable base, leave time for the shore, and think through the return journey before the light changes. The wider Tamarindo, Langosta and Avellanas guide helps you compare the communities around the scene.
Picture the afternoon around the photograph.
- Do you want your day centered on the shore or on nearby town life?
- Would staying in one coastal community make the day feel easier?
- Is your favorite part a long beach afternoon or the light at the end of it?
Conditions around rocks and water change with the tide and surf. Use current local guidance when choosing where to walk or enter the water.
